NFL Week One 8-7 +10.499 units
Eagles/Falcons Under 43.5 -110
The Falcons are saying that Vick will pass more this year...lol. Am I the only one that thinks this is a bad idea? The Eagles defense is experienced in stopping Vick's legs. I don't see any easy points for the Falcons offense. On the other side, the Falcons defense will stop McNabb and company. I see this game being a high energy defensive game (similar to the Colts and Ravens game). I have not put my money down yet...I expect the line to jump up b/c the public loves playing the over in primetime games.
As far as picking a side, I see this game being very close. IMO this game is a coin flip. But if I had to pick, I would go with the Eagles.
BOL on whatever ya play tonight!

OK, I did a little more thinking and research. Eagles should win this game outright. Philly is simply a more complete team than Atlanta. I dont think the Falcons can hang with the Eagles for 4 quaters. The Eagles are 8-2 SU on MNF under Any Reid. They just know how to get it done on primetime. As we all now the Eagles beat the Falcons in the NFC championship game last year 27-10 in Philly without TO. Now I don't agree with what TO has done over the past couple of months at all, but the man can play the game of football. The guy played the Super Bowl on one leg (and still my pats could not stop him). Enough about TO.
I understand the home dog value in the Falcons, and that playing in Atlanta will give them an edge they did not have last January. But I don't think homefield is going to cut it. Eagles will make a huge statement to the football world tonight.

Philly -2.5 -110 5 units (10 total)
The more I think, the more I love the Eagles tonight. Eagles are 7-1 on the road under Andy Reid on monday night.
1st Half Philly -1/2 -120 5 units
After 15 games, the team that lead at Halftime went on to win 12 out of 14 games (1 tied @ half).

Horfin - If Vick throws 25+ times than Eagles win easily. I will never doubt his running ability. But his passing leaves something to be desired. What did you play for tonight horfin?
