Lots of thought and careful consideration went into this one...ok...seriously, yes this is a homer play, and it's not smart to make a big play on your team....but you know what....screw it......the falcons won every game i went to at home last year, and I'm looking to keep that undefeated streak alive tonight....the dome's gonna be rockin tonight....dome field advantage is gonna be huuuuuge! so without further delay...here's my play

FALCONS ML +100
5 units (Nickel Play!)

GL!

Thanks fellas! GL on your plays!

GMoney.....I'm looking for them to double TO and make the other receivers beat them. Who do the eagles have at Wideout that's a big threat besides TO?? Also, I think the falcons are gonna bring the heat big time on McNabb tonight. IMO we've got one of the most underatted group of LB's in the NFL....

Bookie... if Atlanta double teams TO then they better be ready for a billion screen passes...

Bookie - Thanks for the analysis. Thing that scares me on this one is that the Eagles beat ATL 27-10 last year without TO. However, very different playing in Philly last year vs. the dome tonight. I think home field will be huge for Atlanta tonight, they've probably been getting ready for this one for a long time. Philly's D also does a pretty good job containing Vick (26 rush yards, 4 sacks in the NFC championship game). Can the young receiving core step up? Still think the Falcons pull out a close one at home, but need to do some more work...

We shall see... If Atlanta can get a passing game going they should do alright.... big if though.... Will be pulling for the dirty birds... need to be able to say, at least once this season, that the Skins have a better record than the Eagles. :yeah:

You're absolutely right about how different it will be playing in the dome vs playing in philly last year. The team speed on defense is a lot faster at home for the falcons, especially the front 4. We've already heard on sports radio over here, how the eagles front line doesn't think very highly of the falcons d-line, but I'm telling, watching all the games last year, don't know exactly what it is, maybe the turf, maybe getting juiced up with the crowd, but the defensive speed in the dome is so much faster for the falcons.

As far as philly's D containing vick..i completely agree...they did a hell of a job...but I've got enough trust in G. Knapp and J.Mora that they saw that as well, and have made the adjustments needed to get vick off to a good start.......

My only concern is the falcons recievers....we just need ONE of these guys to step up....I've got a feeling it's going to be Jenkins, but we'll see....I'm not saying this game's going to be easy by any means....but the falcons will pull this one out at home...the running game DVD (Dunn, Vick, Duckett) will be huge factor tonight, and the DOMEFIELD ADVANTAGE is going to be even bigger....GL on whatever you decide...

one more thing...and I don't think many people that don't live here will understand this....but in the last 10-15 years there has not been a bigger regular season game in this city....no game has been anticipated and talked about for a regular season game than this one....you'd think this is the super bowl here tonight....the players, fans, and the city is jacked up about this game....i know it doesn't mean that it'll make the falcons win this game, but this game means more to the falcons than the eagles....and in my book motivation is a key part of this game...

Wow Book, you are a wild man. That's a hell of a knot to throw down on a homer play. I admire your confidence. ATL has a lot to prove tonight. I'm anxious to see where the ATL ball is thrown. I think you are playing against TO's pride tonight. You may be right about the motivation thing though. GL tonight!
