Yep, it's laying a lot of wood at 20.5 but I think VT will steamroll Duke. In fact, I am going to look hard at the spread at halftime as, depending on where the game is at the time, I think VT will wear out Duke in the 2nd half. Duke just doesn't have the athletes that VT has.
Thing is, if Duke holds it within a touchdown at halftime, VT will play their starters into the 4th quarter and that makes covering the 2nd half spread juicy. If VT is up by 4 TDs at halftime, then their starters will start coming out earlier and VT may not cover a 2nd half spread.
Coach Beamer has hinted a lot this week that they are going to cut Marcus Vick loose this week - expect a lot of playmaking by VT.
If you are into playing 3 team teasers, then taking VT at -10.5 is one of the very best values on the board - just have to find two others to put with it.
