Yeah Yeah Yeah let me vent for a minute. My point I have no idea other than to bitch!!! If I get off the point I will try to get back on it DJ!
We give billions and billions to foreign aid, right? Has any other country stood up to stand by us in this movement of crises??? I don't think so.................The MIDDLE EAST??? HELLO Can you help us out in a minute of a crises!!!! DO YOU REMEBER US??? We made you what you are! We give billions and billions of dollars to these people! Why for economical purposes!!! Give me a fucken break already! I'm sick of if..... Yeah tell me to leave if I don't like it, but remember this...My tax dollars are going to the same bullshit your tax dollars are going to! I'm tired! I'm tired of this fucked up country we live in. A country of media brain-washing, political corruption and my hard earned dollars out the fucken window to these people!!!!! I'm tired I tell you. Were all fucken a product of society!!!! We are all robots and there is nothing you or any other person can do about it!!!! Don't give me this patrisim bullshit cause I will fight for this country in a time of war!!!! Which is bullshit cause the only reason were at war is for the OIL and the MONEY!!!! Were all here to make the rich get richer and the poor get poorer....... Yeah keep showing the people looting!!!! You dumb fucks what else do they have??? Are these people bad people? NO they are just trying to survived!!!! The media keeps brain washing society! I'm sick over this whole situation! Thousands upon Thousands of people are dead in the south yet everyone is concerned about the gas price! HUH what the fuck is going on here! Oh wait now I remember the rich keep getting richer and the poor keep getting poorer!!!!
What I don't understand is that if gas prices are so high, why are oil companies showing RECORD PROFITS?
For example:
Exxon said "net income totaled $7.86 billion, or $1.22 a share, up 44% from $5.44 billion, or 83 cents a share, a year earlier." Additionally, they're looking at what to do with the $40 BILLION windfall they have.
Shell reported a 40% increase in profits, totaling more than $6.8 BILLION.
ConocoPhillips, the nation’s third-largest oil and gas company, said that FIRST-QUARTER earnings soared year-over-year on high oil prices…. Total revenue was $38.9 billion, up from $30.2 billion last year".
(Not to mention the billions that were tucked into the energy bill)
Since they have these humonguus windfalls, why don't they turn around and give these back to the people "in the wake of Katrina" in savings at the pump? Doubt that will ever happen though.
Why is our president passing laws to give these company tax breaks???????????
Is it just me or am I the only one that feels we built the middle east! If it wasn't for us those people wouldn't have a pot to piss in! They have what we have grown to depend on! Oil!!!!
So here we are thousands and thousands of people dead in the south! Seems to me no one here in America gives a rats ass. We did more for the tsunami people than we have done for our own people! Concerts, Fund Raisers you name it we did it! The funny thing is I remeber every other country said we were not doing enough!!! Hello who is taking the time to help us out! The floods in the south hmmm who cares they were po po people who are the poorest of all! What are we concerned about??? Gas!!! Gas prices are on the rise! Tell me this why is it that the station I get gas at had a jump in price by 40 cents this morning? They fill up every Thursday! The bigs rigs come in and fill the tanks every Thursday! Why did the price jump up by 40 cents Wednesday morning???? This gas was already paid for!!! This gas was in the ground waiting to go in my tank! Why why why did it jump 40 cents when the rigs dumped it off and it was paid for already???? Tell me please fucken tell me why! I know why, but someone please enlighten me.....................................Money hungry political bullshit I tell you.... This country is FUCKED as far as I'm concerned! Gas come on already we have made it throught the industrial revolution! Yout telling me that we can't produce cars that don't use GAS??? OH WAIT NO GAS MEANS NO TAXING!!!! OH WE CAN'T HAVE THAT. WAIT THE SOUTH IS FLOODED AND EVERYONE IS DEAD................. SO LETS RAISE THE GAS PRICES!!!!!!!! Now all of a sudden we get 40% of our gas from the south!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The media I tell you just filling our heads with fillers! Disaster in the south??? hmm lets raise the gas prices! Now we can get a extra buck out of that!!!!
I give up......:puke:
This country makes me sick at times................

I couldn't agree more, Baroooooooooo!
If our president had family interest in those oil reserves, he would have already sent troops to New Orleans in scuba gear!
Everyday proves more and more what a devasting decision we made 8 years ago...and I use "we" very loosely!

Umm, sorry people, they're in the Middle East fighting an illegal war. Deal with it.

while agree 99% with you, the only point i dont is with the looters. some of the looting yes i can totally understand that. but the one busting in and looting guns, and then using those guns to shoot at the rescue copters trying to get the sick people from the superdome. they really have no business taking the guns. food and water and even medicine hell ya go for it.
but the ones taking the guns , these jackasses are making it worse for some of the good people there.
and here we go again with the illegal war shit.

Huricane is a local problem...........and as horrible as it is I wouldn't want to imagine what is going to happen when the crazies in the middle east get there hands on some real weapons............
I just don't understand how people don't want to be getting rid of a threat that is going to be much bigger of a threat than a huricane will ever be.
Maybe Iraq wasn't the proper target for some but it's a central location in that area and it has the bonus of the second largest oil reserve in the world. Thats huge given what is going to be happening. Yeah alot of it is about oil........ But you can't live with out it right now. Everything we have goes back to energy.
Make no mistake about it either............. The extremists want us dead.............and they might not be the majority but they are almost half of the population over there!!
If we were to sit arround with a thumb up our ass and our dick in our hand we are not going to get any safer!!
What we aught to do is start killing off the idiots in our own country..........They are breeding faster than rats. I wish the police of NO had the right to just shoot who ever they don't like and we can clean it up later. Might save some decent peoples lives.

I wonder how fast they would respond if a plane flew over the whitehouse? News Media can get in and interview all these people who need help, but no one can bring water for them. Thanks Bush we appreciate all you do to help out your own country when in need. At least now we know what happens if a bomb ever gets dropped on us. Bush "It's going to take a while." How many acres you have on that ranch? If it was my ranch I'd be pitching tents and giving people a place to sleep and eat at the very least. Thanks Bush, for your very very very fast response to this tradgedy in your own country. By the way, they wouldn't be shooting at the helicopters if the helicopters would have been there 2 days ago dropping off food. I know it's stupid, but do you think rationally with no food, water, clothes, air conditioning or shower for 2 or 3 days. How do you think people feel, they feel the have been abandoned and thought this was the richest country in the world and would have much help, fast. And they have to stay in this filth for days on end. Hell if someone can steal a bus and take people to Houston, why the hell did it take so long to get some buses for these folks. This is no good, no good at all. My sister and Brother in law made the mandatory evacuation, but most the people who stayed , did not have the money to leave. Now they wonder how many people they know are stuck in this mess , this is a very hard time for all involved and I hope the money that is being donated ends up being used for what it needs to be used for. I already have my name on the list to go in and help. I may be called in by Sunday. Prayers, donations, and helping hands is what everyone needs. God help us all.

I love it todays Top Quote from the Prez.........
I was watching Mr. Bush today and I was just sitting there listening to him talk and than he made a state about gasoline...
He said
"If you don't need it don't buy it"
I just sat and look at the TV while this kept repeating in my head! If I don't need it don't buy it! If I don't need it don't buy it!!!!!
ONLY ONE THINK I KEPT THINK WAS.....................
WHO THE FUCK BUYS GAS IF THEY DON'T NEED IT???? WERE NOT TALKING A NEW PAIR OF JEANS OR A NEW WATCH!!!! WERE TALKING GAS!!!! IF I DON'T NEED IT DON'T BUY!! WTF
I think I will start filling up those empty milk gallons with gas and keep them in my basement!!!!!! I mean I don't need the extra gas but someone must be buying it if they don't need it, Since dumb nuts made the statement!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:prtytme: :prtytme:
Than he compared this to 9-11 saying this is more server!!!! How can you compare terrorism to a natural disaster???? I'm guessing that his dad explained it to him this way. You see JR its like this you know how fucked you were with 9-11? Well multiply that by 100. I mean this is a few states were talking about here not two towers your buddy Bin took down! Nope this is more fucked up. Its like taking a yellow and purple marker, You know how the purple marker is much more darker than the yellow one! Do you follow son????? The Darker one just doesn't compare to the yeller on!!!!!

Yeah I think the same about water! Doesn't this nut know we don't live across the street from our jobs? Time to bust out the bike, hell for the people that only live an hour from thier job, your only lookin at 4 or 5 hours to get to work on that bike of yours. Good Luck. And speaking of not needing to buy gas, how much does it take to fill up that Air Force One, ground that bitch, JR. Whats wrong can't get to your office on a bike, hell you live in your office don't you. Oh , only when your not on vacation half the year, that much not take much gas to get to that ranch of yours. Because you don't buy gas for when you don't need it , Do Ya? I think we know who wastes the gas and who buys it as a necessity. How bout that fry grease I've been hearing about. Bush wouldn't be against getting something other than gas to run our cars would he? Peoples dying and he's telling us not to use gas.

People are dying by the hour in that cesspool, and Bush isn't sending in help fast enough. Get this....yesterday our Prime Minister offered to send our help in the form of a "Disaster Assistance Response Team" and thousands of peacekeeper troops that Canada employs for such disasters and genocides around the world. Bush's response? "they're not ready for Canada's help". Just Brutal. I'm sure if we had troops and bombs to fight in Iraq (we don't and won't) he'd be jumping at the chance for our help.
Dumb fuck. :puke:
"Canadian MIlitary Forces are on standby, awaiting requests from the U.S. for help", Chief of Defence Staff Rick Hillier said yesterday. "A Military ship will be piled with provisional supplies so that it's ready to go as soon as possible" Hillier said, "and the Disaster Assistance Response Team (DART) is a state of the art, ready to move out in as little as 12 hours if necessary." The Canadian Military are just waiting for the U.S. word, that unfortunately may never come.
"Aircraft and Helicopters could be made available for transport of people and supplies in the disaster-affected regions of the U.S.", Hillier said, "as well as electrical generators, water purification plants, small boats, diving units, communications equipment and road transport."
This is what our troops do, instead of fighting and invading we send them on peacekeeping missions, and relief missions. Let us help, Bush.

out of this mandatory evacuation they said 20 % stayed behind. so out of the 100k plus did none of these knwo any1 who was leaving who had a car and could have tagged along??? seems to be an awful high number that stayed.

I agree things are fucked up.............but I doubt it's Bushes fault. Matter of fact if rescue workers didn't have to worry about being shot at by the fuckheads causing all the trouble things could be getting done a bit faster. Now as far as the superdome situation goes..........I have no idea what has held that up but to have babies and the elderly dying waiting for food and water, well there is no excuse this government can make!!
I'm telling you people that want to blame republicans.......this isn't a Dem/Rep argument anymore.........our government has become the whore to the almighty dollar on both sides of the ticket!!

Great job by those countries! Aussi's 8 mill and Japans 200 grand is great! Everyone should help out, just like what was done for the Tsunami!
Canada is sending three Canadian warships, a coast guard vessel and three Sea King helicopters. The ships are loaded with millions and millions worth of supplies and aid, they are on the way to be stationed off the coast, so they can fly the aid quickly in via heli and can also help with rescue efforts with the heli's. Also thousands of peacekeeping troops are ready to go this weekend to help out.
CANADIAN PRESS-
The Canadian Coast Guard Ship Sir William Alexander will sail along with the Canadian Navy vessels, HMCS Athabaskan, HMCS Ville De Quebec and HMCS Toronto.
Naval crews were busy loading gear on to the ships in Halifax Friday as 1,000 Navy personnel prepared to head to waters off New Orleans.
Commodore Dean McFadden, who will command the deployment, said they were consulting with their American counterparts to determine what they will do during the expected month-long mission. He suggested duties would involve reconstruction, health care and humanitarian aid.
"We will have the capacity to move people. We'll have the capacity to bring medical supplies and fuel capabilities," McFadden said as he stood on the dock next to destroyer HMCS Athabaskan, the command and control ship for the mission. "The specific jobs we're going to do, I'll wait until the Americans tell us what help they need."
The vessels will work with the U.S. Navy and U.S. Coast Guard and carry Canadian Forces personnel, some of them military engineers who might be able to help restore power and generate electricity.
About 40 navy divers from both coasts were also expected to deploy with the mission, which got clearance after American officials finally accepted a Canadian offer of help.
It's just too bad Bush didn't except our offer sooner....we could have been down their already!
I also heard that Air Canada has also comissioned a non-stop flight to and from Toronto filled with supplies. It will also fly (for free) refugees to Texas on the stopover back to Toronto. Cool thing to do!
Anyway...good on everyone who helps out these poor people!

I found this story Re: aid:
More than three dozen countries, besides Canada have pledged assistance to the United States in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina.
Cuba and Venezuela have offered to help despite political differences. The list also includes Saudi Arabia, Dominica, Russia, France, Japan, China, El Salvador, Israel, Paraguay, the U.K., the United Arab Emirates, the Netherlands, Honduras, Germany, Venezuela, Jamaica, Australia, Switzerland, Greece, Hungary, Columbia, The Dominican Republic, Mexico, South Korea, New Zealand, Guatemala, Belgium, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Italy, Guyana, Indonesia, Austria, Lithuania, Spain, Norway and the Bahamas.
For example, Australia announced a donation of $8 million to the American Red Cross. Japan said it would contribute $200,000 to the American Red Cross and upon request $300,000 in tents, blankets, power generators, portable water tanks and other equipment. .
