Reds +100

Wandy Rodriguez is horrid, and the Astros have been ice cold at the plate, while the Reds have one of the best records in the majors since the all star break and put up runs by the bunches nearly every night....and Houston is favored? Yikes. No Beltran to save em this year either.

Mets -134

Seo is an undefeated 4-0 with an unbelievable 0.32 ERA at home. Also he is 4-0 with an 0.89 ERA since returning to the Mets rotation. Phils are a perennial fader down the stretch, and Tejeda usually starts out ok, but doesn't go too deep into games. As far as the wildcard goes, the Mets are the contender here with Philly being the pretender IMHO.

Braves -140

Winning requires scoring, and Washington has been completely unable to do so lately.

KC +1.5 (+105)

Pretty good value to get +1.5 runs at + money against a team that can't score, even if it is on KC. Lima continues to do pretty well since his pitiful start to the season, and despite pitching well most times, Silva doesn't win too often.

Halos -120

A's appear to be hot, beating up on Detroit who's starters have an ERA of like 16 (i'm not exaggerating) over the last 2 weeks, and then the shitty Orioles who have won like 5 games in August. That stops tonight when they face a real team. The Halos are the better team, and will show the A's this tonight en route to taking back over the lead in the AL West.

Atlanta is terrible. What a futile offense.

Woulda been shut out had it not been for a zillion walks by Patterson.
