Went 1-1 yesterday starting off the week. YTD now stands at 5-3 and +1.6 units since I lost a little juice. Looks like a tough card today but making one play.
Cards -132 Morris going today for the Cards and his numbers are far superior to Valdez. Valdez's WHIP of almost 2 should mean at least 5 runs for the the opportunistic Cards who averaged 5 runs a game for the last week despite hitting under 250 for that period. Marlins are't hitting any better and averaged just over 3 runs during the same period. Cards bp could easily make the difference for great road team.
