Hey Birdsfan,

I wanted to ask you what you thought of this stat (I ain't bein' a dick, just wanted your opinion).

The last four superbowl losers: Carolina, Oakland, NY Giants, and Atlanta (I think these are the four, I did it from memory) not only failed to make it to the Super Bowl the following year, but FAILED TO MAKE IT TO THE PLAYOFFS the following year.

I don't think it applies to Phillly, but shit with all these TO distractions, you have to wonder.

I dont think the Eagles will miss the playoffs just because the NFC East is so weak. Getting back to the superbowl will be hard because Carolina should be good this year. The Eagles Defense is going to be great this year. They will be one of the top two defense and will be able to win many games for them. I just pray that they dont get the injury bug like Carolina did last year, because i think that is the only way they will miss the playoffs. But who knows that is why they play the games.
