Hate to be on the other side, but I'm on Venus here. I doubted her against Sharapova at Wimbeldon and she got it done. I'm not a big fan of the Williams' sisters (though a bigger fan now than when they first came up), but Venus gets it done at the major tournaments. Clijsters has been playing well on the hardcout, but she doesn't have as much experience under the lights (of the majors, not actual lights) as Venus does.

Frenchwoman battle here. Pierce looked awesome against HH but Mauresmo has looked just as good. Overall i like Mauresmo's game and I think it's time she steps up in a major tourney.

Call me crazy, but I'll take #1 seed Sharapova at +140.

Sharapova has won the big one before, Clijsters hasn't. I see Maria winning on the big stage.

Odds are pretty good that if you play both of the ruskis in the semis, you should make some profit even if one wins. #1 seed Sharapova is +170 and #6 dementieva is +145. Both are playing lower ranked opponents.

Now my wife, Natalya Petrovskaya, swears it'll be an all russian final. I think she's biased, lol.
