Tuesdays UEFA matches

Wanted to get some opinions on matches. Right now I'm going with lokomotiv at a steep -215, but seems like a strong play. My wife insisted I play her homeland team, lol.

How about some other plays, any thoughts?

Lokomotiv is a solid team but they will be missing one of there best players for today's game. They still have lots of quality in there squad but they are a hard team to bet on. They play many 1-0 games. This game could be tricky cause Lokomotiv could advance with a 0-0 draw.

As for the other games they are all extremely difficult.

Thun vs Malmo - I would lean towards the homeside Thun. Decent form in league play and they still have to protect a 1-0 away win at Malmo. Malmo struggling in league play winning only 3 of there last 10 while they had 4 draws. Home side should escape with another narrow win.

Liverpool vs CSKA Sofia - No bet here. Liverpool with a 3-1 lead and those being away goals. They will probably win here but they hardly have any motivation.

Rosenborg vs Steau Bucuresti - I think this is an away win for Steau. The reports had Steau has the better side in the home leg but a late equalizer by Rosenborg allowed them to escape with a 1-1 draw. Rosenborg a perennial power in Norway and an almost guarantee every year to make it to the group stage of CL have been struggling mightily this season. They are a midtable team now and have had horrid results of late. They just got hammered by the 1st place team in there league 5-2. Rosenborg does have a new coach but he's been in place for a few games all of which have been losses with the exception of the Steau draw. This will be a tight game cause the advancement for either squad is up in the air. I think Steau has a good shot at the win here.

Udinese vs Sporting Lisbon - I expect Udinese to defend the hell out of there net. There up 1-0 after there away win. Udinese is a typical Italian squad. They go up early and defend. Udinese though is an unpredicatable squad. They can beat the best teams in Italy but then lose to the worst teams. No form for them since there league hasn't started yet. Sporting's season just started on Friday with a 2-1 win. Should be another tight game but I wouldn't bet it.

Monaco - Real Betis Sevilla - Sevilla just managed to beat Barcelona in the away leg of the Spanish Super Cup 2-1. Combine that with there late strike at home against Monaco winning 1-0 they must have some confidence. Monaco is off a 1-0 loss in league play to Bordeaux. Again another tight game here. Would take Sevilla in the handicap although I'm not going to bet this.

Panathinaikos - Wisla Krakow - Wisla heavily outplayed Panathinaikos in the first leg winning 3-1. Panathinaikos without true form as there league has yet to start. Tough game here. Price on Panathinaikos to win is very high. They should get the home win here but it's tough to say without seeing more results.

Partizan vs Artmedia - Should be a clear home win but price is not attractive at all.



In the end I see all no bet games for the most part. Maybe take the handicap on Steau and a possible bet on Thun. But besides that prices aren't that great. Good Luck!!!!:thumbs:
