the total in the game looks high to me, so I am going to say that it is there for a reason. I don't like to bet on overs when a team has been pounding the ball as the A's have lately, but I will count on A's putting up 3 and baltimore getting 6. Sarloos is usually nails for the first 3 innings, but inning 4 and 5 give him problems. on top of that he is on 4 days of rest and he doesn't do to well usually after only 4 days. This is the most innings he has ever pitched in a season so we will see how is arm holds up. Baltimore should break out as they have been on a scoring slump lately. it will be interesting to see how the hot A's bats do against Bedard, who has been hot and cold since his return, but seems to be doing allright lately, but will be facing a lot of right handed bats and switch hitters today. I would also lean towards baltimore in this game, but can not bet against my A's.
