Gentleman,
It's good to see you all back from a hopefully well rested off season. Also, welcome to those newbies who are here to yuck it up w/ us for the next 5 months. After a real solid 2004, I look to keep up my pace for the 2005 season. Here are some of my "eye ball" early leans:
Houston +10 vs. Oregon
Vandy +10 @ Wake Forest
Minnesota -15.5 @ Tulsa
Michigan State -18.5 vs. Kent State
USF +23 @ Penn State
ECU +1.5 vs. Duke
UAB +24 @ Tennessee
Wyoming +22.5 @ Florida
BYU +3.5 vs. Boston College
Texas A&M (E) @ Clemson
SMU +4.5 vs Baylor
Syracuse -1.5 vs W. virginia
New Mexico -14.5 vs. UNLV
Good luck to everyone this season.

Welcome back Hank!
Very astute takes on Houston and BYU.
Some VERY sharp bettors on both of those.
Great job! Looking forward to another great season!
good picks, you should also look at utep -10, it looks like a solid bet. gl.

Like the picks except for Vandy..........GL though........I also like Cincinnatti -10 and South Carolina -19 (or -10 1st half even better)..........

I think Jay Cutler has the senior leadership to keep Vandy in the ball game if not pull an upset. I also like the fact that it's an opening game for both teams helps Vandy's chances. We'll see whose more prepared as a team.
As I am still in the process of scouting my "projected leans" there are games that pop out at me more than others, as well as games I didin't post such as UTEP.
Thanks for the insight guy's.
BOL to all!!!

Schis...no offence but I would not touch South Carolina for a bit under Spurrier with all the headaches he's had, regrouping his club and the NCAA sanctions against this team playing a club that has a coach with a lot of heart and trying to come back from a personal bad year...19 is a lot to ask from the Gamecocks and there is a lot of time before that game kicks off. Weather could play a factor as well as last minute injuries.
Better games on the board then South Carolina in week 1...imho...GL with it though.
