Tampa Bay vs Tennessee
Jeff Fisher has had great success in the preason. In the last five years Tenn has been 15-4-1 vs the spread including 8-4-1 as a favorite, they are 15-5 SU. The QBs for Tenn will be Steve McNair (1Q), Billy Volek (2Q), and Gino Guidugli (2H). Volek should be able to kill the 2nd string Defense for TB. The Guidugli should be able to put up a few points. The TB QBs will be Brian Griese (1st Q), Chris Simms (2nd Q+), and Luke McCown (4th Q). I dont think that they are as deep as Tenn and it will show. Tenn should be able to win this game.
Chicago vs St Louis
Chicago has already played a preseason game and that should help them be sharper this game. The QBs for Chicago looked good and should be able to kill this St Louis Defense. The Chicago QBs will be Rex Grossman (1Q), Chad Hutchinson (2Q), Kyle Orton (3Q), and Kurt Kittner (4Q). St Louis has not be good in the preseason under Martz. In the last 3 years they are 2-10 SU and 3-9 ATS. The St Louis QBs will be Marc Bulger, Jamie Martin, Jeff Smoker, Ryan Fitzpatrick. Dont look for the St Louis starters to play much and after that they are not very deep. I think that the St Louis Defense is going to get killed by Chicago's Offense.
Detroit vs NY Jets
Detroit is coming into this game wanting to see how good thier pass offense is going to be. Look for Detroit to air the ball out and put points on the board. The Detroit QBs are going to be Joey Harrington (1st Q), Jeff Garcia (2nd Q), Dan Orlovsky (2nd H). Harrington and Garcia are figthing for the starting job. Garcia should be able to kill the Jets 2nd string defense and Orlovsky should be able to put up a few points. The Jets are coming into this game just wanting to see the backups play and see what they have. The QBs for the Jets are Jay Fiedler (will start, 15 plays), Brooks Bollinger (Rest of Game),and Pennington will not play. Bollinger should be able to put up big points. I think that this total will end up in the mid to high 40's.
