T.O. leaves Eagles Training Camp!

BETHLEHEM, Pa. -- Terrell Owens has left Philadelphia Eagles training camp and returned to his home in New Jersey following an apparent verbal disagreement with coach Andy Reid, Philadelphia's ComcastSportsNet.com reported Wednesday.

The dispute occurred during a meeting, the report said. Owens left the meeting, packed up his belongings and drove home.

Owens’ publicist, who confirmed the incident and that Owens has left, is currently en route from Los Angeles to Philadelphia, the website said.

Owens did not practice with the team Wednesday morning but did work out with assistant trainer Chris Peduzzi on one of the adjacent practice fields.

Owens has missed five of the last six days with a groin injury suffered last Thursday. He ran some light routes and caught passes from a machine.

Owens is seeking to renegotiate the seven-year, $49 million deal he signed last year. The Eagles have said they would not do so. On Aug. 1, Owens reported to camp on time, and agent Drew Rosenhaus said a walkout was unlikely.

BK, TO is a cancer to any organization. The Eagles did him a favor by trading for him last year after he whined about not wanting to play in Baltimore. Any player that has to have clout like he does and bitches and whines about how he needs to feed his family on his lowly millions needs to get out of the game. Years ago, someone would of clocked him and he wouldn't be playing due to a career ending injury. You don't see those type of plays today as they did back in the 60's & 70's, but just watch when he steps on a field officially when the season kicks off.

As far as the Falcons beating the Eagles? Line right now has Eagles -3 even on the money line. Defense wins championships and I don't see the Falcons stopping McNabb, Westbrook, LJ Smith or Akers from scoring. One thing this year is the Eagles will have a healthy backfield with power fullbacks that got injured last year as well. Now if they can just get someone to step up to the plate or pick up someone who's released that's worth a crap, ie, at wide receiver, such as a Moulds, Price, Isaac Bruce, etc..., we'll see what outcome the MNF game shall bring em. One tidbit of Information.

Monday Night Football, first week, any team that played in the SuperBowl the year before is 0-8 ATS as a favorite and 2-0 as a dog since 1995.

BK Vick can't read a Defense and throws the ball high all the time. Vick is a great runner not a great QB. I think they should let Schaub play QB and make Vick a RB or WR. I'm not an Eagles fan, but I love the stance they have taken.

The team president has made it clear he will play for the Eagles or not at all.

You have got to be kidding me you must be on crack talking about what happen last year, This year you will see a whole lot of changes as far as who is going to be on top this year. The Eagles will not make it to the SB this year unless they buy tickets. Last year the NFC East was weak but this year you will see more from the NFC East.The eagles are not going to be as good as they where last year as far as there record even with TO they might even lose 2 to my boys and they don't have a great QB or even a good QB right now. I think the boys will beat the beagles at least 1 time this year :yeah:

I dont know how you think the cowboys are going to be good this year. They have not improved the defense and the QB is another old QB that no other team wants. But you can have your fantasy thinking the Cowgirls will be good this year. The only team in the east that has a shot at the Eagles are the Redskins. Gaints and Cowboys will be less than .500 team again.

What do you mean they haven't improved there defense what TV where you watching on draft day. ESPN said that the Cowboys had one of if not the best draft picks this year for them and the off season pick up's they had will be a big help. I didn't say they will be great but they should do better then they did last year. But i will agree on one thing with you the QB they picked up i think is just another younger vinnie and they could have picked someone else. Hopefully drew won't have to throw a lot and not fumble some of the snaps so he can just hand the ball to jones and who ever and maybe he will be alright but i am hopeing for them to find another decent QB after preseason because i am not happy with the QB's we have:bang: anyway Birdsfan 5 good luck on your picks this year and with your Eagles:gulp: but like i said they won't make it to the SB unless they buy tickets:thumbs:

eh I only agree partly, Redskins offense not gonna be good enough to win em games, they will be .500 too. They claim to make dramatic changes this year but with a suspect line, and two shortass receivers, they aren't going anywhere, good D though even without a healthy arrington ironically.

It's gonna be Eagles alone in the east have to say. Now I'm a big cowboys fan, but you can't expect them to do well unless they get a grasp of the 3-4 quickly, which isnt to say just because you switch to it makes it work right. Their linebackers will have to come through, and they are starting a very talented rookie on the weak side, but he is still a rookie.

Even without headache TO, eagles more balanced than all the other teams in the east, most importantly they are more stable at QB than redskins, giants, and cowboys combined.

But one of the other 3 will step up to possibly be a wildcard in a weak NFC, hopefully its the boyz, but I wouldnt hold my breath :gulp:

the cowboys are a waste and will be a waste for the next few yrs. i still do not understand that a team that has has a top 5 defense the last 4 or 5 yrs, why they didnt develop a younger player the last 5 yrs instead of bringing in the old washed up QB's. what going to happen is in a yr or 2 the defense will be gone and the offense will still suck and then your looking to rebuild. jerry jones is a fuck head only worse owner is bud adams.

look for a mediocore 8-8 season maybe 9-7 at best. i they make the playoffs (doubt it) it will be an early exit.

i just love the cowboys fans at work who wear the cowboy blinders and when you ask them how the girls will do, they reply (with a straight dead serious face) that they will go 12-4 or 11-5 and deep into the playoffs HAHAHAHA fukn cracking me up
