November 12th--Iowa@Wisconsin

This will be Barry Alvarez's last home game as head coach of Wisconsin. Look for a fired up Badger team!!

Nothing's a LOCK but unless Wisconsin really sucks when this game rolls around then they should beat Iowa like a red-headded step-child!

Awesome. We need to talk soon. I'm getting NFL done now... as pre-season starts in less than a week... but then pre-season CFB will have to be done.

i took iowa at -1.5 for a preseason bet. loved it at the time since iowa plays well at the end of the season and wisky lost serious firepower to graduation. now i just really like it.

Like Iowa, look for them to lose maybe 2 games all year.

Wisconsin only opened up at -4 1/2 vs Bowling Green at home. How can they play Iowa close in November, which is tank time for them. I always thought that Alvarez was over rated. His Bowl record of 5-3 is OK, until you consider that his ATS record was 4-4, and 3 of those wins came against UCLA (2), and Stanford, two teams which have a combined bowl record of 2-8 over the last 10 years.

Alvarez had a couple of good teams in 98-99, but he never could get to the top of the ladder nation wide. Good coach, but his longevity is what he will be remembered for. His last 5 years have been disappointing.

2003--Senior Day going for Barry's 100th Big 10 win. lost
2004--Rose Bowl berth on the line against Iowa. lost

Barry Alvarez owns an unimpressive 19-21 record last 40 Big 10 games.

...see Hayden Fry, Lou Holtz, and Gene Keady (bb) last seasons/last games. Don't get me wrong, I do respect what BA has done and think he's been great for the game, but I don't think Wisky has the horses.
