Not a very good week last week last week going an unbelievable 1-3, with Edmonton failing to cover in the rain, and Toronto losing to the spread by 1 point. Calgary was a bad play on my part. My Riders came up with the big win however!

Only playing 2 of the games this week, but I absolutely love them both. They are both on Saturday/23.

Saskatchewan Roughriders -5 (-110) over Calgary Stampeders
I really thought this line would come out at 8 or 9, so I grabbed it right away. It might be at 5 because the game is in Calgary, but when the Riders play in Alberta, at least a third of the stadium is Green. The 3-1 Riders are a hot team coming off a blowout win over Hamilton in which they had 7 starters sitting out because of mostly minor injuries. They will be getting 4 or 5 of them back for this game. This is a grudge match game with Sask's last year starting QB Burris leaving for Calgary in the offseason for more $. He has looked terrible for the 1-3 Stampeders, and the Riders and their fans are going to want to just run right over Burris in this game. Riders offence is clicking, ranked first in the league in rushing and TOP. Riders getting their top rusher back in Kenton Keith, and already have the leading rusher in the backfield with KK's early season replacement Corey Holmes. This will be a 1-2 punch that should run all over the average Calgary defence. Calgary's offence near the bottom of the league only scoring 2 TD's all year! All these factors point to a Saskatchewan blowout in this big game. Really can't believe it is only 5 as Sask has looked like one of the top 1 or 2 teams, and Calgary has looked like the 1 or 2 worst. That means 2 big units on this one. Damn right.

BC Lions -9.5 (-110) over Hamilton Tiger-Cats
Lions offence clicking on all cylinders early, with the best and most explosive passing game in the league. They are coming into this one with a 3-0 record beating a very good Toronto team last week. Hamilton is in trouble. They are 0-3, and have not even been close. Not a good time to go up against BC. They got blown out by 20 against a severly short-handed Sask team, It will get worse against a healthy BC team that can really put points up on the board. They are calling for a QB change in Hamilton already as 41 year old Danny McManus has struggled badly, and he will no doubt have a short leash Saturday at home when the fans voice their displeasure in Grampa Danny. Lions by 25.

2 Game TEASER (6.5 pts) -110
• Roughriders +1.5
• Lions -3

I'll thow this one in as well, as I would like 3 plays on the board at least. I am also thinking about adding Ottawa +7, but it is a no-play as of yet.

GL.....I feel great about these two this week!

Laying off the Ottawa/Edmonton game. I would lean towards Ottawa at home plus the number, but that Edmonton offence scares me too much. Over is tempting, but the 57 number is a little high, even for the CFL!

I will add this Friday game:

Montreal Alouettes -10 over Winnipeg Blue Bombers
Bombers got lucky last week covering the number in a loss to Edmonton. Edmonton really controlled the game, but had 6 or 7 turnovers and missed a bunch of field goals in the rain. Montreal is looking to establish itself as a power in the East, and will blow this team out. Montreal by 30.

GL this week if you play the CFL! :yeah:
