I had some real good success last year with these, so i am trying a few more this year. There isn't much value in most of them, and it sucks tying your money up for 4 months, but i see a couple i love already.

THE Ohio State University OVER 9wins +122...........This is the season that comes around for OSU about every 2 or 3 years. They are flat out loaded. They own the best LB group in CFB and they have quite possibly the most talented group of WR's, as well. Really only 2 possible weak spots are PK and QB (if Troy Smith picks up where he left off, that one could end up being a strength). RB position should be an upgrade, though, the faces will be new. They have a very favorable schedule with only 4 road games. Yearly nemesis Wisconsin is missing from the schedule, as is Purdue. Tough games are TEX (9/10 at home), Iowa (9/24 at home) and the dicks from up north (season finale on the road). If they can get by TEX, they should have a bunch of confidence going into the Iowa game, which will make or break the season. Should they get by Iowa, they have really nothing difficult in the big10 season (except maybe at PSU) until UM. With only 3 loseable games on the schedule, 2 of which are at home and getting a push with 9 wins AND +122, there is tremendous value in this play, IMO. For OSU to go 8-3 would probably be one of the most disappointing seasons in Columbus in years and i just don't see it happening. BUT, it all depends on those 2 early games in SEPT. And for anyone wondering if this is a homer play, i bet on the UNDER last year for OSU win total wise. I never bet on OSU out of anything other than facts.

Will add a few more in the coming days.

GL to everyone!

FF, where did you find over/under info for CFB? I've yet to find anything in several odds pages..

Thanks!

WB7- looks like you found some. Most books seem to have them up and available. Though, the odds are very different wherever you go, so always best to shop them around. I see you have OSU on yours at +110...they are +126 at pinnacle.

Finally this day has come!!! Well, almost.

What do you think about UNC 4.5 +199? I'm thinking their is value there after a season where nobody thought they'd win 2 games against the toughest schedule, let alone 6.

Other than the loss at QB, all of the other pieces return included a solid O-line, WR corps, senior QB (who has been in the system for 4+ years), and deep Dline and secondary.

Only thing that scares me is the lack of speed at the LB and not letting the 2ndary play pass defense.

AH- what's new?....havent gotten around to the ACC yet. That conference is going to be interesting with BC now in the mix. I mainly concentrate on the MAC, Big10, MWC and Pac10 and those are the ones i started with. Their schedule is murder, though. 5 wins may be asking a lot.

Here are CFN's thoughts:

Just when it seemed like North Carolina was going to play out the string until a new head coach could come in, John Bunting and his staff put together a solid year with a bowl appearance for a team that had no business finishing with a winning record. Now the Tar Heels have to maintain the success despite one of the nation's toughest schedules. The original plan was for this to be the year when Bunting's good recruiting classes were supposed to pay big dividends, but it will take a minor miracle for there to be much headway made.

Experience won't be an issue on either side of the ball, and there's hope for some big improvements in the weak spots like run defense and offensive line consistency. After finishing last in the ACC in total and scoring defense, ten players with starting experience come back, along with a boatload of depth, to expect a much steadier season. The offense loses heart-and-soul quarterback Darian Durant, but Matt Baker appears to be more than ready to keep the offense moving, and he has a talented, but untested, backfield to hand off to.

Everyone will dismiss North Carolina again considering last year's problems and the brutal schedule that sees eight bowl teams (not including NC State and Maryland) and four league champions, but this should be a better team even if the record doesn't reflect it. It really won't reflect it because of ...

The Schedule: Yuck. After starting out with a brutal Coastal division road date at Georgia Tech, the Tar Heels have to host Wisconsin before another bad ACC road trip to NC State. If that wasn't a rough enough start, they have to host defending Mountain West champion Utah before facing former Conference USA champion Louisville. Things ease up considerably ... yeah right. Virginia?! At Miami?! Co-Big East champion Boston College?! Are you serious? After Maryland, Duke is the only oasis before finishing up at Virginia Tech.

Best Offensive Player: Senior G Kyle Ralph. Sure to be an All-ACC performer again, the 6-5, 297-pound senior is a consistent blocker in all phases leading a veteran, underrated line.

Best Defensive Player: Senior DT Chase Page. Back from a torn tendon in his hand, the 6-5, 280-pound senior will add a steadying force to a veteran line and should improve the run defense.

Key player to a successful season: Senior QB Matt Baker. He has been around long enough as a reserve to be expected to shine right away as the new leader of the offense. He has a great command of the offense and is an excellent decision maker, but now he has to make the rest of the attack better.

The season will be a success if ...the Tar Heels finish with a winning season. With their schedule, four wins would be a major coup. A winning season makes John Bunting the ACC coach of the year.

Key game: Sept. 10 at Georgia Tech. Without a breather on the slate until November 19th against Duke, North Carolina can't let the tough schedule swallow up their hopes. A win over the very, very good Yellow Jackets would do wonders to show that a successful season is possible.

2004 Fun Stats:
- First quarter scoring: Opponents 106 - North Carolina 48
- Rushing touchdowns: Opponents 31 - North Carolina 19
- Interceptions: Opponents 11 - North Carolina 8

CFN did a nice write up, but they predicted one win last year and that was against William and Mary.

I see W's coming from: GT, dook, NC State, Wisconsin, and throw either Utah, Maryland, or BC in there.

Larry....:puke:
LMAO bro.....I guess you could be saying that in support of the Lions of PSU as well......:prtytme:

MAC - picked by conference AD's and coaches...

Toledo to win the WEST
runnerup to No. Illinois

Bowling Green to win the EAST
runnersup to Miami, FL

With the vacancy left by Marshall and Central Florida, BGSU has been moved back to the "Ohio Division" of the MAC and will have Miami and Ohio on their schedules full-time again....good luck Frank Solich.....
