We go to Texas Motor Speedwayfor this week's race. The track will be hosting a second racein the Nextel Cup Series schedule for the first time this weeksince Texas Motor Speedway hosted its first NASCAR Nextel CupSeries event in 1997. There has never had a repeat winner.
Two-time NASCAR Nextel Cup champion Terry Labontewill conclude his 10-race 2005 season this weekend. Labonte plansto return next year to a similar schedule before he retires.

Two of the four drivers in the Chase for the NASCARNextel Cup, Carl Edwards and Jimmie Johnson, have never won arace at any of the final three tracks. Ryan Newman has his Texaswin, Greg Biffle has won at Texas and Homestead-Miami Speedwayand Tony Stewart has one win at Phoenix and a pair of wins atHomestead-Miami Speedway.
Stewart sits atop the Cup standings also leadsin winnings, laps led, miles led, wins (tied with Biffle), topfive finishes and top 10 finishes.
The Dickies 500 will be Ryan Newman's 150th careerstart on the Nextel Cup circuit. Newman has one win (2003) andone Bud Pole Award - in April this year.
The Nextel Cup Series continues next week withthe 35th race of the 36 race season at Phoenix International Racewayon November 13th. Dale Earnhardt Jr is the defending championof the Checker Auto Parts 500.
Our Pick: Greg Biffle. We feelthat he will race strong in Texas again this year and just incase he doesn't we've got a backup pick as our second choice whichis Rusty Wallace.
