The Cleveland Cavaliers are one win away from giving everyone the NBA Finals matchup they want. Standing in their way are the Boston Celtics, who have a lot of fight in them, but not enough talent to match-up against Cleveland. The Cavaliers go back on the road for Game 5 on Thursday after a 112-99 win in Game 4 on Tuesday in which Kyrie Irving took over. The superstar point guard took over in the second half and finished with 42 points to lead Cleveland one step closer to a third straight meeting with Golden State in the Finals. Irving stayed on the floor despite rolling his left ankle in the third quarter, when he scored 19 in less than five minutes, and LeBron James shook off early foul trouble to contribute 34 points. With Cleveland in jeopardy of dropping its second game in a row, Irving took over in the second half with help from a resurgent Kevin Love, who grabbed 17 rebounds and has recorded double-doubles in all four games of the series and is averaging 24.5 points and 12.8 rebounds. James picked-up four first half fouls, but ended up making 15-of-27 shots after a terrible Game 3 in which he scored just 11 points on 4-of-13 shooting.

The Celtics haven’t found the home floor to be much help against the Cavaliers as they lost the first two games by an average of 28.5 points, including a 130-86 humiliation in Game 2. Guard Marcus Smart was a Game 3 hero with 27 points as he stepped up in the wake of Isaiah Thomas’ season-ending hip injury. Smart was unable to follow up that outing as he had just eight points on 1-of-9 shooting in Game 4 for his third single-digit effort of the series. Jae Crowder battled through a groin injury in Game 4 and recorded 18 points and eight rebounds and is averaging 15.5 points and 7.8 rebounds in the series. Avery Bradley led the C’s with 19 points on Tuesday and might have to do even more as backup small forward Jaylen Brown (hip pointer), who is averaging 9.5 points in the series, is questionable for Game 5. Backup Center Kelly Olynyk averaged 15 points in the two games at Quicken Loans Arena after scoring just two total points in the first two home games.

I can’t see Cleveland losing this game. Boston will fight hard, but the Cavs have too much and right now, the big three (James, Irving, Love) are rolling. Cleveland wins by 15.

Pick: Cavaliers -10.5
