The point spread for this year’s Go Daddy.com Bowl between the Arkansas State Red Wolves and Northern Illinois Huskies opened up at -1.5 in favor of the Red Wolves at BetOnline Sportsbook on 1/1. The total is set at 64.5. Right now, 58% of the betting public is on Northern Illinois and 85% are on the over. To help you better decide who to bet, take a look at these trends for tonight.

Red Wolves are 6-1 ATS in their last 7 games as a favorite.

Red Wolves are 6-1 ATS in their last 7 games following a S.U. win.

Huskies are 2-5 ATS in their last 7 games following a ATS loss.

Huskies are 5-14 ATS vs. a team with a winning record.

Under is 12-3-1 in Red Wolves last 16 non-conference games.

Under is 4-1 in Red Wolves last 5 games after accumulating more than 450 total yards in their previous game.

Under is 7-1 in Huskies last 8 neutral site games.

Over is 5-1 in Huskies last 6 non-conference games.

My Prediction: A couple of hot teams meet tonight in Mobile, Alabama. Arkansas State was won 9 in a row and Northern Illinois has won 8 in a row. The Red Wolves are actually one of the best spread teams in the Nation having covered the number in 10 of their 12 games. This should be a high scoring affair. Arkansas State is very good at stopping the run and that’s what makes the Huskies offense go. I think the edge goes to the Red Wolves based on a better defense.

Arkansas State -1.5
