It’s time again for College Football toget underway. Here is a preview of this years’ South EasternConference East.

Even though the Florida Gators lost a lot ofplayers to graduation and the NFL, they’re still going tobe the team to beat this year. With a smart coach and all butone offensive starter returning, it should be another powerhouseteam. One thing that might not be in favor for the Gators is anew QB and only two returning starters on defense.

The Georgia Bulldogs are another team that cancompete in this division, with an experienced QB, combined witha talented runningback and great support from an offensive line;it could be their time to shine. The Bulldogs will only have fourexperienced defensive starters back.

The Tennessee Volunteers can be competitive thisyear with a record setting senior QB. It’s uncertain abouttheir receivers but they do have talent in that department. Theyhave good depth on defense and experienced linebackers.

The South Carolina Gamecocks are loaded withtalent this year. They will have the same superb defense backagain with 3 new talented players. They have a 1,000 yard receiverwho’s back for year 2 and a quality runningback who excelledlast year. The Gamecocks are looking to put up huge numbers thisyear.

The Kentucky Wildcats will have 17 starters backthis year and a senior QB to take the helm for the Wildcats. Theywill have their top rusher, receiver and kick returner back againthis year. Most of the team will be the same as last year andare expected to put up lots of points.

The Vanderbilt Commodores have 18 starters returningthis year along with the entire offensive line. Their Junior QBwill be back and is hoping that his offensive line can protecthim so he can do his job. As for defense the need to improve onpass defense.
