The Texas Longhorns will havetheir best QB back again this year along with his top six widereceivers to create another powerful offense. Although they losttheir top running back they have last years back up who’smore than ready to drive the ball down the field. Defensivelythey’ll need to improve on pass defense. They didn’tstop the pass enough, so by the time the secondary got in there,opponents threw the ball and put up some big numbers.

The Texas A&M Aggies offense will return9 starters this year. They have a much improved QB who’scapable of scrambling, but shouldn’t have to due to an outstandingoffensive line. The Aggies top two running backs will be backto their old ground n pound ways. Texas has a strong defense andan even stronger secondary line this year. They must not loseat home.

The Nebraska Cornhuskers are expected to be thebest in the south this year. They’ll return 7 starters onoffense that put up an average 30 points per game in 2006. Eventhough they lost a talented QB, they managed to get an equal fillin. As for receivers and running backs, they’ll be returningall seniors to make up a powerful offense. Defensively the Huskerswill be deep and talented.

The Oklahoma Sooners will have to figure outtheir QB situation soon. Last year’s QB is gone and thereare three possible candidates, but this is what it was like lastyear due to an injury prone season to the QB. Regardless of whomthe QB is, the Sooners receivers are top notch and should easethe job of QB. Their defense has lost two top defensive ends,but with an experienced front line and talented new defensiveends it should pan out alright. It might just be a matter of experience.

The Oklahoma State Cowboys return an explosiveQB, along with a star receiver and two fast running backs. TheCowboys will return their whole starting and secondary lines.After lots of knowledge from last season, this will be a muchimproved Cowboys team.

The Texas Tech Red Raiders offense is in bigtrouble this season. The whole offensive line is almost gone withjust a couple starters back. They’ll have one experiencedwide receiver and a running back with no work ethic. As for defensethey’ll have 5 defensive linemen returning, which didn’tdo all that bad last year. Their secondary line will be the mainarea in need of fixing.
