Ty Gaston from Ty Gaston.com has gone throughevery NFL teams shot at going to Jacksonville for the Superbowlin February 2005!

AFC EAST: The New York Jets last year were 6-10and unable to stop the run, with Pennington at the QB throttledon’t expect much more as Ty Gaston looks at the Jets as a 6-10team this season! Jets are currently 20-1 to win the Superbowl!

Buffalo was 6-10 last year and until Bledsoe learnshow to get rid of the football, Ty Gaston can’t see the Billswinning more than 7 games! The running back controversy will hauntthe Bills all season long! Buffalo is 25-1 odds to win the Superbowl!

Miami: 10-6 with Ricky Williams, 6-10 withouthim! Feeley is not the answer at QB plus now they need to finda running game! The loss of a big time wideout, and the AFC sackleader are also big negatives for the Dolphins! Miami is 17-1and going higher to win the Superbowl!

New England was 14-2 last year with a Superbowlwin over Carolina! Corey Dillon will help the run game, whileTom Brady needs to stay healthy as an injury to him will be acatastrophy. This team is loaded and ready to try to defend theirtitle! The 2002 Patriots were Champions and were loaded as welland didn’t make the playoffs. New England is hoping history won’trepeat itself. New England is the current 2nd favorite to winthe Superbowl at 4-1 odds!

AFC NORTH: Cleveland and Cincinnati have no shot! Both teams will struggle to win 8 games! Cleveland is at 40-1odds, while Cincinnati is 25-1.

Baltimore should at least duplicate their 10-6record of a year ago with their superb defense. Baltimore is 10-1to win the Superbowl!

Pittsburgh will improve drastically and shouldgo 10-6 whether it is Tommy Maddox or Ben Roethlisberger at thehelms! Pittsburgh is listed at 20-1 and is a definite sleeperto win the Superbowl!

AFC SOUTH: Indianapolis and Tennessee are surefire 11 games winners in the upcoming season as both were 12-4a year ago. Both are playoff bound as Indianapolis is 7-1, andTennessee is 10-1 to win the Superbowl in February!

Jacksonville is getting a lot of hype and Ty Gastoncan’t see it! The Jags should win 9 games but this is not theyear they come into their own and are a 30 to 1 shot to win theSuperbowl!

Houston is 50 to 1 to win the Superbowl and deserveto be higher, they may win 6 games just because of their defense!

AFC WEST: San Diego will struggle to win 4 gamesas they did last year! At 80-1 odds to win the Superbowl, youwould be throwing money away!

Oakland has the same problem they have every year,DISCIPLINE! Theoredically the worst penalty team in the leagueyear after year, penalties will once again hurt them! Ty Gastonlikes the addition of Amos Zeroeue at running back and help takethem from a 4-12 team last year to a respectable 9-7 this year!Oakland’s odds are set at 20-1!

Denver always seems to find a running back andthis year’s addition is a kid called Griffin, with veteran GarrisonHearst getting some calls on third down! Plummer at QB needs tofinally come into his own and put his stamp on the Denver offenseand if he does Denver wins 10 games and makes the playoffs! 10-1is Denver’s odds of winning the Superbowl!

Kansas City was 13-3 last year! Ty Gaston can’tsee that happening again this year, but maybe 11 wins is a shot!Trent Green does possess a lot of weapons the big question markis defense! Kansas City is 8 to 1 to win the Superbowl!

NFC EAST: Dallas won 10 games last year, expect8-8 this year. Vinnie Testaverde will be injury prone and Hensonis years away! Dallas is 15 to 1!

The New York Giants with either Manning or Warnerat QB should be much improved over their 4-12 record last year! The Giants can win 9 games and sneak into the playoffs in theweak NFC! At 25-1 to win the Superbowl, they will be at leasttwo years away!

Washington despite the addition of Gibbs as coach,Portis at RB and Brunell at QB are an 8-8 or 7-9 team! The Washingtonodds of 10-1 are quite low and strictly based on GIBBS past coachingperformances!

Philadelphia won’t win 12 games again despitethe addition of Terrell Owens. The defense lost too many key playersespecially at the cornerback slots! Philadelphia also needs toreinvent their rushing attack as well! 11 wins is not out of thequestion, but Philadelphia has a history of losing NFC Championships!Philadelphia is the current 7/2 favorite to win the Superbowl, but Ty Gaston thinks there are other teams at better odds thanthis Philly Team which will have problems pass defending and runningthe ball on offense! 7/2 odds is too short a price on this Philadelphiateam to win the Superbowl in February!

NFC NORTH: Detroit and Chicago will both struggleto win 6 games! Detroit is currently 50 to 1 and Chicago is 30to 1, to win the Superbowl and both rightly so

Minnesota needs to find a running back and canimprove on their 9-7 campaign a year ago. 11 Games is not outof reach and the Vikings are definite playoff contenders at 6to 1 odds to win the Superbowl!
Green Bay will win 10 or 11 games and they will need home fieldadvantage to win the NFC Championship game! Green Bay at 7-1 hasa shot to win the Superbowl in February, but Ty Gaston doesn’tfeel it’s likely!

NFC SOUTH: Atlanta is finding out their superstarVICK at QB is a crybaby, this hurts, that hurts, wah, wah, wah!Matt Schaub is the incumbent quarterback of the future for theFalcons. The kid can throw, run and is not a crybaby! Don’t besurprised if VICK gets hurt again and demands a trade! 17 to 1odds on Atlanta winning the Superbowl, is more than a longshotwith VICK at the helms! Atlanta struggles to win 8 games! Andon top of that Deangelo Hall broke his hip and will be out forquite some time at the cornerback slot!

New Orleans is getting a lot of press as a sleeperteam and Ty Gaston can’t see it. The Saints are justifiably listedat 35-1 odds to win the Superbowl!

Carolina lost the Superbowl to New England andwere 11-5 last year, maybe 9 wins this year if Delhomme stayshealthy and the current odds of Carolina to win the Superbowlat 15-1 should be higher, perhaps 20 or 25 to one.

Tampa Bay at 7-9 last year will improve to 10wins and Tampa Bay may even steal the NFC SOUTH from the Panthers!Tampa Bay is listed at 10 to 1 odds to win the Superbowl in Februaryand could be a sleeper!

NFC WEST: Arizona will try hard to match their4-12 season last year! Too many injuries have already put theCards behind the 8 ball! Dennis Green as head coach will havethis team mentally ready, but they lack overall talent againstevery other NFL team! 100 to 1 odds is very, very low for thissquad!

San Francisco’s quarterback Tim Rattay has lingeringinjuries and it is hard to believe they gave up on Jeff Garciaso soon! After all the 7-9 version of last years 49ers shouldhave been much better as they lost 5 games by bad field goal kicking, games in fact they should have won! This year they will be luckyto win 7 games and the 49ers midseason will find out that KenDorsey is their quarterback of the future and not Tim Rattay!San Francisco is 30-1 odds to win the Superbowl!

St Louis won 12 games with their acclaimed “GreatestShow on Turf”, but will probably win just 10 games this yearand a minor playoff contender! Defense will be their nemesis againas they give up too many points and go conservative with big leads! The Rams are 7 to 1 to win the Superbowl and Ty Gaston feels theyare a waste of money unless betting games to go over the totalduring the regular season!

Seattle is probably the most improved team inthe league on offense and defense as Holmgren has his club readyto make the big run at the Superbowl! Holmgren knows how to handlequarterbacks and his previous QB’s of Montana, Young and BrettFavre prove that he knows how to coach the position better thananyone in the league. This year’s version of super quarterbackwill be Hasselbeck and he will lead this Seahawk’s potent offense. If Seattle can win on the road, 12 wins is a given! Strong Defense,Strong Offense spells SUPERBOWL! And at 12-1 odds probably thebest wager of all teams in the NFL to win the Superbowl!

Ty Gaston’s NFC Prediction!

Seattle can handle Philadelphia or Green Bay ifthey achieve home field advantage in the NFC Championship game!Seattle looks very, very strong with few weaknesses!

Ty Gaston likes Seattle to win the NFC and advanceto the Superbowl?

Ty Gaston’s AFC Prediction!

Yes the Patriot’s are loaded, yes the Chiefs areloaded, but these two teams may cancel themselves out and leavethe door open for the 25 to 1 underdog, Pittsburgh Steelers! Adifferent team steps up every year in the NFL and this year’sversion of the Pittsburgh Steelers could be that Super Sleeperteam!

Ty Gaston likes Pittsburgh to win the AFC Championshipand advance to the Superbowl!

Ty Gaston’s 2005 Superbowl Prediction
SEATTLE VS PITTSBURGH

Before Seattle went to the NFC West, this gamecould never have been possible! The strength in the NFL this yearwill come from AFC teams Denver, Kansas City, Pittsburgh and yesNew England of course! The NFC will have a hard time against AFCteams with the exception of the Seattle Seahawks who seem to bethe apparent heir of power in the NFC. Ty Gaston likes an allformer AFC Superbowl, with Seattle and Longshot Pittsburgh playingin the Superbowl in 2005 in Jacksonville!
